WAR IN IRAQ AFFECTS TRAFFIC AND ACCESS TO EAST/WEST
Notice from East/West Players Administration:
There will be street closures again, due to the high risk of terror that the war has created.You will only be able to get to East West Players via 1st Street. Barricades have been placed at either end of the block.
However, vehicle and pedestrian access to East West Players is still allowed at First Street. And there are signs up at the First and Judge John Aiso intersection that say "theater & business access permitted."
To minimize problems the police told us to do the following when coming to visit East West Players:
1.) Tell the police officers that you will be going to EWP and will park in Lot 7.
2.) Please be sure you have identification when attempting to come to EWP.
3.) Also you may have your car searched.
If you have any problems, the EWP point person designated to talk to the police is Jess Ibatuan. We do not know how long the barricades will be up, it could be as long as we are at war.
