Greg Watanabe
His theater credits include the world premiere productions of “The Ballad of Yachiyo” (Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, The Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival), “The Summer Moon” (A Contemporary Theater, South Coast Repertory Theatre) , and “Butcher’s Burden” (Asian American Theater Company). Other regional theater appearances include Singapore Repertory Theatre and Mark Taper Too! Recently he appeared in the American premiere of Chay Yew’s “A Winter People” and world premiere of Julia Cho’s “The Winchester House” (both at the Theater@Boston Court), and in the world premiere of “10,000 years” by John Ridley
His television credits include regular cast member of Watch Over Me on MyNetwork TV, regular on UPN pilot Off Limits, as well as appearances on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Crossing Jordan, The Proud Family, Hidden Hills, J.A.G., Nash Bridges, All That and the television movies, “Under Wraps”, and “Deadly Seduction”.
Greg has appeared in the independent movies, “Americanese”, “Only the Brave”, “Life Tastes Good”, “True Love and Mimosa Tea”, “Forgotten Valor”, “S.F. Walk”, “Brown Sheep”, and “Coyote”.
Greg has been a company member of the Asian American sketch comedy group
‘the 18 Mighty Mountain warriors’ since 1994.
